14 Affirmations to Help You Through Your Breakup (With 2020)

2020 is eerily similar to your ex from 2001. You have to honor the time you dedicated to it and recognize how you’ve grown as a person in that time. It was not time wasted. But now you need to cleanse, reset, and create space for a new healthy relationship to enter the picture: 2021. It’s time to MOVE. ON. Bigger and better things are ahead, so let’s get them, okay?

Here are some affirmations you can recite as you visualize your 2021:

  1. I am worthy of the happiness I desire.

  2. I accept the good things that are coming my way.

  3. I will not doubt myself. It is wasted energy.

  4. I will project positivity into my life and the lives of those around me.

  5. I will not let bad moments turn into bad days.

  6. I free myself from rigid expectations.

  7. I will not give up on goals just because I am behind on them.

  8. I will acknowledge my growth.

  9. I let go of the desire for perfection.

  10. I will acknowledge my pain and work to grow through it.

  11. I release my fears of future roadblocks.

  12. My feelings are valid and I honor them.

  13. I believe in myself.

  14. I welcome abundance and blessings into my life.

I know we’ve all imagined that the second it turns 12:01am on January 1, 2021 that everything will be back to normal, but we can’t control that. What we can control is our mindset. So recite these affirmations as often as you need to and have a fantastic new year.
