Everything you need to know about finding the perfect therapist

LISTEN TO EP 62: ITUNES | SPOTIFY

Everyone should know by now that I am a huge advocate of therapy. Like huge huge. I boost therapy a lot. I try to sneak a mention of it in each episode because I believe it’s not only important for your immediate self care (IRL) but it’s just a really valuable tool to have and come back to along your life’s journey. Therapy was or is a really a brave space for me to do the hard work but while holding someone’s hand. And “a someone” who knows WAY more than me.

I shared in our Patreon (don’t forget to join us)... but I shared in our Patreon that I was looking for a new therapist and one of our Internet cuzzins commented with “but Ty how do I find a therapist, what I am looking for?'' In today’s episode you and I are going to discuss some of the strategies that can help you narrow down—or expand—your options and pick a therapist who is likely to be a good match for you.
