How To Make Traveling With Your Friends Work For Your Wallet

Normally I hate sharing anything. I’ve always believed that the last “whatever“ is always best when only you have it. Don’t you agree? But not this time! In addition to earning points that you can use yourself, you also earn additional points (or nights) that you can share. To help kick off the IHG “Share Forever” program, I was invited to get a sneak peek at what Spire Elite members (most loyal customers) get when they take advantage of this program. So me and the BFF headed out to Vegas (SCORE!) for some much-needed fun in the sun. As soon as we arrived at the Palazzo we were treated like Queens. The champagne glass pictured above is proof!
If you’ve never been to the Palazzo or Vegas here are some basics: IT IS THE BOMB! And we all should live like this at least once a month to decrease the stress that magically keeps reappearing in our lives. Don’t you love my life mantras?!
The all-suite resort is quietly tucked in between the Wynn and the Venetian, and is only a 6-minute walk from/to the Fashion Show Mall. You know I made a pit-stop there too. But first.. we bake!
Before we even settled into our suite we headed poolside. As a part of the program event all the members (us too) got to enjoy the spa and some cabana time at the pool. I’m pretty sure Jesus’ tears might have been in the pool water because it was more glorious than I could have ever imagined.
But back those suites!
Dear, IHG! Is it at all possible to do a resident blogging stint here?
I mean who doesn’t want to wake up to free continental breakfast. I know this doesn’t look like cereal and dry biscuits but this is what IHG considers continental. Say word?

There was also a ping pong tournament hosted by pro basketball player, Chris Paul. I mean, yea we met and we’re getting married, I kid. But he’s a cutie, right. Also he’s pretty funny and super talented on the court! He might officially be BAE.
I wish I could relive that weekend. We did so much that weekend. There was a Vegas show, no pics (in my North West voice) because…sometimes you just gotta live in the moment and enjoy the rewards life gives you! But as a new travel enthusiast, I learned the importance of racking up my points in order to really have a budget-friendly getaway.
