The Best Day Ever, Our Wedding Day! (VIDEO)

LISTEN! Please know that I’ve watched our wedding video a million times since our videographer, Chip dropped this video in my inbox a few days ago. September 16th will forever go down as the best day ever for us. And to think I never thought I’d be that girl.
In the beginning, I was really adamant about not having a wedding. I mean I really fussed and fought the idea. I thought going to the courthouse would be easier since my mother is partying it up in Heaven and couldn’t make it. The idea of her not being able to witness her favorite girl’s special day was a lot for me to bear. But after some encouragement from my now husband, I got through this process and I’m now beyond grateful for this experience. Like seriously, can I do this again? I see why Mariah and Jackie get married every year (read: renewed their vows).
So let me warn you now my husband tried to outdo me in our wedding vows. I texted him that day and said I was having trouble finding my words. I was literally having writer’s block on my wedding day. His legit response was, “Oh well, I’ve got mine!” Talk about savage right.
It’s no secret that my husband is the corny one. Always clowning people (especially me) so I expected to laugh during his vows. I expected him to make our guests laugh. Well, he got serious on me for the first time in forever and pour his feelings (along with our favorite song) right on my heart. I legit cry every time I hear him say these vows and I am sure you will too.
Our wedding day was nothing short of incredible. Thank you to Victorious Events for helping me and my friends plan my day, Andrea from Pantora Bridal put her foot in and out of my dress and created a gown that I adored and Felicia from Xquisite Catering came through in the clutch serving the best damn BBQ anyone has had. Folks are still raving about our wedding food.
From the overwhelmingly supportive family and friends to our amazing set of ALL BLACK VENDORS (I’ll tell you how to do this later) this was THE BEST DAY EVER.
