That Time I Tried On The Best Pair Of Jeans EVER at The NYDJ National Fit Tour
When’s the last time you went to the mall, tried on jeans and stomped away cause nothing fit. That is my life! That is usually the fate of my denim try-on moments. BUT I was recently invited out to Roosevelt Field Mall to check out the NYDJ National Fit Tourand my skeptical mind has been changed.I’ve gotta brag about my experience to you guys.
NYDJ is searching for women to star in its next Fit is Everything campaign which is set to launch in July. And yes I am hoping that I get picked for this because my shoot was epic. But I’m not sure if I’m in the running so pray for your girl.
While I was there I got the FULL model treatment. And what girl do you know that doesn’t want to be a model? I’ll wait. None right! Y’all know I be playing model on the regular but last Saturday was one for the books.
It was totally denim heaven in the middle of the mall. Denim everywhere! Dark. Light. Black. Gray. Skinny. Straight-legged. You name it, there was a denim made for your booty and mine. I can’t believe I had never tried these jeans on. I was blown away by how comfy and flattering the jeans were. I only needed to try on one pair of jeans to be forever hooked. After I found my fit, it was time to get hair and makeup.
I told y’all this was a real model casting experience!
My hair’s cute right! I normally never ever tease or fluff my hair but the hair stylist gave all kinds of tips and really inspired me to spruce up my normal bone straight tresses.
#IssaLook right! This was the final look we decided on. I’m very regretful that I didn’t get to keep these shoes though. But back to these jeans though… they are so BAE! I’ve never been so impressed with a pair of denim. I’m not sure what kind of unicorn stretch they’re made with, it’s gotta be like 30%, but I sized down to a size 16. Look at God!
