That Time The Runyon Canyon Tried To Kill Me (& My Husband Helped)

LISTEN! So I had this bright idea to hike up the Runyon Canyon. It’s been on my bucket list for years and since I was in LA for my last trip with Buick (read about my year-long adventures here) I convinced my boyfriend, my fellow blogger from the Buick crew, and his daughter to hike up the mountain on our free day.
So let me tell you guys in advance, the Runyon Canyon is the devil. Pure. devil. I’ve seen people tackle this mountain like it was nothing…lies they tell us, girl! No one shares the struggle on the way up. All we share is that cute and perfect little Instagram picture at the top of the mountain.
I learned that the point where everyone takes a picture, isn’t even really the top–it’s the middle of the mountain. Lawrdt! And. Most people don’t even make it to the top top because it’s so high and the air quality is so bad.
But since I put it on my bucket list, and I am NOBODY’S PUNK (well maybe a little bit) I managed to whine and bitch ALL the way up and down the mountain. My boyfriend starts filming and boy is this a hilarious video!
