How to have a relationship with a toxic parent

LISTEN TO EP 96: APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY

If you’re keeping up with me on Instagram, then you know that I deejayed for the Baltimore Ravens. I smashed the gig and I was on cloud 9000. But then an interaction with my dad turned things around.

The one lesson I learned through all of this was that none of us are so healed, that we can actually escape the dark and sad parts of us. I think those parts of us never really leave. But through therapy we learn different strategies that we can pull from that already exist in our wellness toolbox. But hunny, my toolbox is empty when it comes to dealing with my dad.

In today's episode I am going to tell you this quick story of what lead me to my 30 day break and then I'm going to give you/me some guidance on how to navigate your relationship with the toxic parent.
