Let’s Talk Energy
I’m not a #nonewfriends type of girl, but also it takes me a while to warm up to people. This is because I’m just really good at reading people’s energies right away.
I consider myself an empath in training. Empaths have the paranormal ability to feel the mental or emotional state of another human being. (I know you’re thinking ‘Witchcraft. I don’t want it.’ But hear me out.)
I vividly remember my mom’s funeral and feeling the insincere energy of one particular woman and I said to myself ‘This is why I instantly don’t be feeling people.’
Take Control
1. Become hyper-aware of the energy you feel. Recognize when people are emotional vampires. This one is hard— many of these emotional vampires are some of your closest relationships. These can drain your energy.
Take control: “I now release anything that does not serve me.”
2. Is the energy you feel yours or someone else’s? This one is also hard— you have to ask yourself some hard questions like, ‘Am I being controlling?’ and ‘Did I bring this drama?’
Take control: Learn what your triggers are and know that it’s your responsibility to turn them off.
Find your happy place and reconnect with your breathing. No one can enter your sacred energy space without an invitation from you. You attract every single person in your life. PeriodT.
