My best advice for not crashing out during the holidays

LISTEN TO EP 112: APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY

I cannot believe that the holiday season is here so quickly but I also feel like we say this every single year. What I do know to be true is that it definitely feels like this year been whipping our behinds. Cue waking up Nov 6th thinking what have y’all done. I use the holidays to completely escape my reality. The tree lights, and colorful bows take me to my childhood where there were no bills to be paid, no big decisions to be made, and absolutely no stress resided in my mind.

But I know for many of us the holiday season if just a reminder of all the weird or toxic family dynamics, the complexities of grief, the financial pressures of our lives, or the nagging and overwhelming schedules we can’t control. In today's episode you and I are going to discuss some practical strategies to help you stay grounded and actually enjoy this special time of year.
