5 Apps I Use To Edit My IG Photos & Videos

Instagram is always changing and adding new features, but until their editing features get a whole lot better, I’ll continue to edit my photos and videos off of the app. Here are my 5 favorite go-to apps that you should download whether you’re a content creator or you just like sharing food pics and selfies with your fam and friends.

P.S. If you’re not following me on IG then what are you even doing on IG? Fix that here.

1. Lightroom

You don’t need to have the desktop app to get professional quality photo editing! Plus, if you have any favorite photographers on IG, they may offer presets that you can purchase and use on your mobile app. Or you can use the amazing free presets that come loaded in the app. Bonus: the desktop version is very pricey but this app is free.

2. Tezza

This free app will make editing photos fun again. You can add vintage or film filters (my favorite) or add an overlay for some added texture. You can even add a glitter filter. You can also edit videos on this app, which is helpful now that IG is starting to prioritize video content on their platform. This app was created by content creators, so this is the perfect app if you’re trying to up your IG game.

3. Facetune 2

Did you get the perfect selfie, but the lighting was absolutely awful? Do you wish your lipstick was a different color? Wanna get rid of that pesky zit? This free app can fix all of that for you! It can also add fun backgrounds to your photos and all sort of fun filters like adding a subtle rainbow effect.

4. Retouch

This photo editing app will cost you $1.99, but I promise it’s worth it. (Would I lie to you??) If you wanna edit an ex out of a photo, remove a photobomber from the perfect pic, or just enhance your thirst trap, this app has you covered.

5. InShot

This free app is specifically designed to edit videos. You can add videos from your camera roll, trim them to exactly where you want them to be, speed it up or slow it down, add free music, fun transitions, animated stickers, filters, and captions! Basically, it does everything you need.
