All the red flags you might be ignoring in your Friendship

Friendship has been on my mind lately, because I’ve had some instances in friendships that have made me question my discernment when it comes to new friends. I was even asking myself “Do I need new friends?” And the answer is yes. And it’s important! Not everyone has to be a ride-or-die— you need friends of all levels.
Anyway, we as a society loooove to talk about red flags in romantic relationships. But we don’t really talk about red flags in friendships. For example, a typical red flag in friendships is when it feels one-sided. In a balanced friendship, both parties should feel equally invested in maintaining the relationship.
When you consistently find yourself being the initiator - whether it's making plans, starting conversations, or even reaching out to check in - it might indicate that the friendship is one-sided. This imbalance can be emotionally draining and often leaves you feeling unappreciated and undervalued.
