More than half of American adults say they experience sleep problems on a regular basis. I am here to tell you that I am “American adults.” But you don’t have to be one of those people with me. What I’ve learned is that the things you do right before bed can determine whether you toss and turn for hours or get a good night’s sleep.

I don’t know about you, but I have a really hard time letting go of the day, especially if I haven’t completed my ten million tasks on my to do list. It really does start with feeling or knowing that I am prepared for the next day. I even started keeping a notepad by my bed where I would write out a few action items for the next day.
